When washing your hat, use the delicate cycle. For drying, damp dry and lay flat to finish drying. Turn the hat inside out to protect the pom pom or tassel. When still damp, place the hat back right side out and run your fingers through the tassel, or if it has a pom pom, shake it out to re-puff.
